Heimtextil: a story of structure and color

The Heimtextil fair in Frankfurt is drawing nearer again. From 8 till 11 January, you can discover Ter Molst’s new collection of upholstery and curtain fabrics at hall 4.0, booth C15. Get ready for textural solids and color!

Color splashes

Both Europeans and Americans will love Orion. This colorful jacquard, inspired by the geometric forms in the eponymous constellation, has several designs that match the European and the American color trends currently found on the market.

Jacquard Haiku is a go-to for the more poetical-minded amongst us. The soft, rather tonal colors and smooth shapes are bound to inspire you, whether it be in interior design or writing.

Our Vivalife performance fabrics certainly match this selection as well. These brightly colored, easily cleanable fabrics are celebrating their first birthday during Heimtextil!

Linen Life: all about feelings

Of course Linen Life couldn’t go without some additions to its collection. The new Linen Life fabrics revolve completely around nature and the feelings of wonder it can cause. Horizons and sunsets have always astonished us, which made them the best inspiration for our Horizon plain solid and its matching Sunset jacquard. These pocket weaves, the upcoming trend in textile design, are a modified version of the Leandro quality we launched at MoOD in September.

Curtain fabric Kagera was named after de Kagera River in Central Africa. This multicolored design was inspired by the typical warm African tones found in clothing and art.

Closing the curtains

Soft, warm and cozy is all we can think of during winter. Curtains are a good-looking and easy way to keep the warmth inside; the right curtains can do all of that and add some extra dimension to your home.

The classic velvet look reinvented? We present you Grande. This fabric was created upon request of many customers, as the chic look of velvet is still a favorite in many interiors.

For Nido, both design teams for upholstery and curtain fabrics joined their forces. The thick chenille yarns that are actually only used in upholstery, are perfect for the heavier fabrics that are popular for curtains nowadays: the fabric remains flexible, while the soft chenille gives it a sort of cuddliness and a heathered look.

Marble grew in popularity over the past few years and can currently be found in architecture and design. We’re happy to add fabrics to that list as well. Carrara was named after the Italian city, renowned for its marble quarries. For this special marbled look, we split up one of our warps to give this fabric a clearly defined design.
